ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Instructing Counsel at trial in the Supreme Court of Victoria in a litigated matter involving jury assessment of quantum and negligence, resulting in a finding of no negligence, and successfully obtaining a costs order in the client’s favour
- Appearing on behalf of various government departments and agencies at the County and Supreme Court in respect of various interlocutory applications
- Appearing on behalf of clients at a mediation, including preparing and delivering submissions and advising on strategy with respect to settlement negotiations
- Advising clients in relation to strategy with respect to coronial investigations and instructing Counsel at coronial inquests
- Obtaining default judgment for a government agency in a complex recovery action.
