Moray & Agnew welcomes Edmund Burke as a Partner in Brisbane. Edmund will lead the Queensland workplace practice, working alongside our National Workplace Team helping clients across the state.
Edmund brings extensive experience in all areas of employment law and work health and safety, with a proven track record in defending complex prosecutions. His experience spans employee misconduct investigations, professional misconduct defence, bullying and discrimination claims, workplace and sexual harassment, performance management, discipline and dismissal, adverse action claims and workplace defamation.
He has also led due diligence and employment transfers under the Fair Work Act for both Australian and international businesses. Edmund has successfully defended companies, individuals, and local councils in proceedings related to non-compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act and incidents resulting in employee injuries.
