25 August 2022 - Moray & Agnew opens a new office in Cairns to better service clients with offices in North and Far North Queensland. This will also expand the firm’s capabilities in government and local government in Queensland.

Andrew Kerr is joining us as a partner based in Cairns. He will work closely with our Brisbane Managing Partner Michael Garbett to establish and expand our presence in the region.

Andrew is an experienced practitioner with over 25 years’ experience acting for local governments, statutory corporations, landholders and mining companies throughout North and Far North Queensland including the Gulf of Carpentaria, Cape York Peninsula and the Torres Strait. His practice is primarily native title, cultural heritage, planning and state land tenure conversion areas.

National Managing Partner Geoffrey Connellan adds “This regional expansion will enable Moray & Agnew to bring national knowledge and support delivered locally to the North and Far North Region of Queensland, and is an exciting development for our firm and our clients.”
