The arrival of two new partners – Anthea Karvounaris and Michael Gill – at Moray & Agnew during March 2019 reinforces the firm’s position as one of Australia’s foremost insurance law practices. Their arrival also contributes to the continuing expansion of Moray & Agnew’s national network.

Anthea Karvounaris joined Moray & Agnew Melbourne on 5 March 2019. Anthea has amassed strong credentials in both general insurance and life insurance during her legal career, most recently practising with a boutique law firm. Anthea is accompanied by three lawyers plus one paralegal.

Michael Gill joined the firm’s Brisbane office on 18 March 2019. Michael specialises in liability insurance and has extensive experience in handling matters that involve the construction, infrastructure, transport and mining sectors.

The firm’s National Managing Partner, Geoffrey Connellan, commented ‘We are delighted to welcome Anthea and Michael to the Moray & Agnew team. These appointments are a significant addition to our portfolio of insurance law services, particularly in locations other than our Sydney head office. And their arrival is another signpost of Moray & Agnew’s commitment to maintaining our position as Australia’s largest specialty insurance practice and providing across-the-board insurance law services to clients across all lines of business and in every Australian jurisdiction.’

The arrival of Gill, Karvounaris and her team takes Moray & Agnew’s total partner count to 95 and total number of lawyers to 300.
