Maintaining good mental health is also a significant priority in our workplace, especially given the prevalence of mental health issues in the legal profession. As part of our focus on employee wellbeing, we have developed a team of Mental Health First Aiders who offer support and encouragement to colleagues to transition to professional support when mental health difficulties may arise, as well providing Mental Health First Aid training to staff generally. We have become signatories of the Minds Count Foundation who are embedding sound mental health practices across the legal profession.

To further our social procurement policy, the firm is a member of Social Traders, which enables us to connect with certified suppliers and businesses who incorporate various forms of social enterprise within their supply chain. These organisations include charities and not-for-profits, as well as those focussed on supporting Indigenous Australians, people living with disabilities and mental illness, and socially disadvantaged individuals.
