Kathryn has extensive experience in the area of compulsory third party (CTP) insurance law representing insurers. She specialises in major and complex claims.

Kathryn’s principal area of practice is compulsory third party (CTP) insurance law and she has extensive experience across all areas of CTP litigation and claims management.

She has particular expertise in the defence of major CTP claims, including those involving catastrophic injuries such as a brain injury.

Kathryn regularly acts on behalf of her clients in matters in the Personal Injury Commission, District Courts of NSW, and the Supreme Court of NSW.

Kathryn has been involved in a number of Supreme Court of NSW Administrative Law claims arising from Medical Assessment Service and Lifetime Care & Support determinations, and also NSW Court of Appeal matters.

Admitted to practice in NSW and the High Court, Kathryn joined the Moray & Agnew’s insurance team in 2014.

Kathryn’s utilises her attention to detail and analytical skills to provide work of a high standard for her clients. She assists her clients to implement effective strategies for the management and resolution of matters to ensure favourable outcomes are achieved.
