Katherine is part of our Pro Bono Team. She is currently seconded full time to Inner Melbourne Community Legal where she works in the criminal law and fines practice.

Katherine previously worked at Inner Melbourne Community Legal as a paralegal for three years while she completed her law degree before joining Moray & Agnew.

Katherine also volunteered at various community legal centres as part of her law degree, including Inner Melbourne Community Legal before she commenced her employment there. She also completed an internship in the criminal division of the County Court.

Katherine is passionate about breaking down barriers to access for justice for her clients.

She enjoys court advocacy, having appeared on various occasions at the Magistrates’ Court for diversion hearings, adjournment applications and withdrawals. She has also prepared submissions for various pleas in mitigation which led to favourable sentencing outcomes for clients.

Katherine has assisted clients to have thousands of dollars in fines waived due to their special or exceptional circumstances.
