Moray & Agnew is pleased to welcome Ashley Burgess and Daphne Jones-Bolla as Partners in the Perth Government team, further strengthening the firms government offering in Western Australia and across the country.

Ashley joins us from the Australian Government Solicitor and has more than 15 years' experience advising clients on Government administrative law litigation in both Tribunals and Courts, providing strategic, practical advice and solutions across merits and judicial review matters. Having appeared extensively as solicitor-advocate in hearings before the Administrative Review Tribunal, the Federal Circuit and Family Court and the Federal Court of Australia, he is trusted by agencies to handle their most important matters. Ashley’s broad expertise spans numerous areas of administrative and entitlements law, including immigration, Commonwealth compensation and veterans' entitlements, social security, NDIS,  and government regulatory law. He will be joined in the next month by Daphne Jones-Bolla. Daphne joins the firm after a decade at a national law firm, where she most recently served as Special Counsel. Daphne has built a strong reputation as an administrative law specialist, representing Commonwealth agencies in administrative law litigation before the Administrative Review Tribunal and Commonwealth Courts. She advises, and appears on behalf of, government clients across a variety of areas including immigration, NDIS, social security, Commonwealth compensation and veteran’s entitlements.
