Our Pro Bono approach

A nationally coordinated pro bono practice

Moray & Agnew’s pro bono services are delivered through a National Pro Bono Practice, established to ensure consistency and high standards of service delivery across the firm.

The practice is staffed by nine full‑time pro bono lawyers, with additional support provided by lawyers across our practice groups. This structure allows us to:

  • Respond promptly to referrals
  • Appropriately resource complex or urgent matters
  • Match matters with lawyers who have the right expertise
  • Deliver a consistent client experience nationally

Our pro bono clients receive considered, well‑resourced legal support as part of a structured practice.

How we support pro bono clients

We approach pro bono matters in the same way we approach all client work, with professionalism, clarity and respect.

Our lawyers focus on:

  • Understanding each client’s circumstances and objectives
  • Providing clear, plain‑English advice
  • Offering practical options and realistic pathways forward
  • Working collaboratively with referrers and support services
  • Managing matters efficiently and with sensitivity.
