Jamie is a Partner in our Australian Government Team.
She has over 20 years of experience in insurance and government practice. In the most recent years, she had focused on merits review in the Administrative Review Tribunal.
Experience & expertise
Jamie commenced her career as a plaintiff personal injury lawyer acting on behalf of injured claimants across various areas of insurance litigation, including matters arising from motor vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, medical negligence and public liability claims.
Jamie then spent 15 years advising insurers in relation to CTP claims.
Jamie now practises exclusively in Australian Government law, specialising in NDIS merits review before the Administrative Review Tribunal.
Jamie is a Law Society of NSW Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury and has been involved in all aspects of the litigation and dispute resolution process across insurance and government practice areas.

- Advocating before the Administrative Review Tribunal in NDIS merits review proceedings
- Advocating in SIRA’s Dispute Resolution Service and District Court of NSW
- Managing litigated matters in the District and Supreme Courts of NSW
- Advising on NDIS access decisions, planning decisions and support funding disputes
- Representing the NDIS at case conferences, conciliations and interlocutory hearings
- Preparing and filing documents for merits review, including drafting statements of facts, issues and contentions
- Obtaining and preparing expert evidence, including medical, allied health and functional capacity reports
- Managing complex matters involving significant functional impairment, rare conditions and high-cost support needs
- Defending Nominal defendant insurance claims
- Managing insurance claims involving multiple defendants, complex causation issues and dual insurance issues.
