Anusha is a Senior Associate in our Professional Indemnity Team.

Anusha works on a range of professional indemnity and directors’ and officers’ litigation matters. In addition to litigation experience, Anusha brings a wealth of regulatory experience having worked for Commonwealth and NSW regulatory bodies.

Experience & expertise

Anusha joined Moray & Agnew in 2024 having previously been a Team Leader for the Legal Regulatory Department of the Law Society of New South Wales.  Anusha’s experience also includes litigation from acting for Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Australian Taxation Office and Australian Securities and Investment Commission.

Anusha’s experience and expertise is in insurance, professional disciplinary and commercial litigation. Anusha practice is focused on defending claims and providing insurance coverage advice on matter involving professional negligence, professional disciplinary conduct and directors and officers liability.

Her work includes:

  • Acting in defence of tortious and contractual claims against solicitors in all jurisdictions;
  • Advising and representation in a wide variety of negligence claims;
  • Advising in relation to the application of the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 and coverage advice, particularly to professional indemnity insurers.

Work highlights

She has experience acting for Commonwealth agencies and Royal Commissions.

Anusha publishes in the Law Society of New South Wales journal and other publications.
