Stacey has wide-ranging experience in commercial and corporate law across a variety of industries, with particular expertise in large M&A and complex commercial transactions. She advises both private and public sector clients on a range of commercial matters and general transaction work including goods and services contracts, distribution agreements and joint ventures.

Experience & Expertise

Stacey also advises on corporate governance and regulatory compliance considerations, including directors’ duties, corporate structuring and the preparation and advice on shareholders agreements, and company secretarial documents.

Prior to joining Moray & Agnew, Stacey worked in-house at a mining services group where she was responsible for all aspects of corporate governance, tendering and procurement processes, general contracting and oversaw all acquisitions made by the Group. She also managed large projects involving financiers, shareholders and other stakeholders to provide efficient, effective and profitable outcomes.

Stacey has extensive experience in:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including joint venture, supply, distribution, sales, services, funding and licensing agreements and associated intellectual property requirements
  • Advising on key risks in commercial contracts and contract administration including indemnities, limitations of liability and security
  • Advising on governance issues, including privacy.
