Complementary to Mark’s expertise in property damage claims, he also specialises in builders warranty insurance. He has prepared in-house training seminars for builders warranty insurers and has extensive experience acting for them at both a claim and litigation stage as well as in the recovery process. He has acted in hundreds of matters across most jurisdictions in Australia for the major players in the industry.

Mark has also acted for developers, builders and owners over the years in commercial and domestic building disputes in both a front end (drafting of contracts) and back end (litigation) capacity.

Mark’s advice to clients is clear and succinct. His clients particularly appreciate his skills in employing cost-effective and pragmatic approaches to liability defence files, with a healthy appetite for securing early settlements and strong results. When wearing his recoveries ‘hat’, Mark is renowned for his enthusiasm and relentless approach, being proactive and creative to ensure the best return for his clients.
