Cathy has over 20 years of experience handling personal injury claims and became an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law in 2002.

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

Cathy worked for many years at a reputable mid-sized plaintiff law firm, progressing through the ranks from the role of law clerk to Special Counsel. During this time Cathy specialised in medical negligence, public liability and motor vehicle accident claims. She developed particular expertise in handling catastrophic injury claims with complex liability and medical issues including brain injury, birth injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, disfigurement and blindness.

Prior to joining the CTP team at Moray & Agnew in 2020, Cathy was employed as Special Counsel for a second plaintiff personal injury law firm based in Sydney and was responsible for the management of the Mid North Coast branch office.

Cathy’s knowledge and experience from a plaintiff perspective provides her with a unique skill set when handling CTP claims, which benefits her clients. Her keen attention to detail ensures accurate and thorough advice while her medical negligence background brings valuable expertise to issues of medical causation.

Cathy is admitted to practise in NSW and the High Court of Australia.
