Moray & Agnew's acknowledged reputation as one of the largest specialist insurance law firms in Australia, has been largely achieved by adopting a total commitment to the selection and training of our solicitors. It is our stated aim to fully achieve each individual's potential.

On appointment, solicitors undergo an intense training programme in litigation, always emphasising the insurance aspect. Newly appointed solicitors are immersed in court attendances, reporting, instructing counsel, dealing with witnesses and other lawyers.

During this training period, there are regular performance and development reviews to identify solicitors' strengths and improve those skills not yet fully developed.

In-house continuing legal education is conducted throughout the year. In addition, Moray & Agnew encourages post-graduate study by providing financial assistance.

New solicitors receive support and guidance under our mentoring programme and our strong commitment to ongoing training and development.

All staff are supported by excellent technology and library facilities including desktop internet access, on-line publication services and sophisticated practice management software.
